Terms of use

Last updated · October 26, 2026

These terms apply when you use the Rafiq app and this website. By using Rafiq you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What Rafiq is, and what it is not

Rafiq brings you verses of the Quran and authentic hadith, with reflections and answers written with the help of AI from the explanations of recognised scholars. It is a companion for reflection and learning.

Rafiq does not give religious rulings (fatwa). For a ruling on your own situation, ask a qualified scholar you trust. Rafiq is also not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or someone you trust now.

We take great care that every text is quoted exactly and every explanation comes from its sources, and each answer is checked against them before it is shown. AI can still make mistakes, so for anything that matters, go back to the sources and to people of knowledge.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google, and you are responsible for activity on your account. Use Rafiq for yourself and in good faith: do not try to break, overload or misuse the service, and do not use it to produce harmful content. We may suspend accounts that do.

Limits of our responsibility

We provide Rafiq as it is and work to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on its content.

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies. Questions: support@meetrafiq.com.
